Moeckel Pond - Community Partners

The restoration, preservation, and long-term protection of Moeckel Pond will be accomplished through a public-private partnership led by the Friends of Moeckel Pond and the Windham Endowment. The following organizations have joined in and are taking an active part in this effort:

• Town of Windham Conservation Commission
• Windham Historic District/Heritage Commission
• Moeckel Pond Village District (a newly-created governmental entity)

Additionally, the Moeckel Pond Project has received support and encouragement from the following:

• Windham Board of Selectmen
• Windham Boy Scout Troop 266
• Windham Womans Club
• Rock Pond Improvement Association
• Cobbetts Pond Improvement Association
• Windham Fire Chief Thomas McPherson
• State of New Hampshire Dam Bureau
