2025 Community Grant

In 2025, the Windham Endowment for Community Advancement's competitive Community Grant program will make total grants of up to $2,500 available to Windham-based nonprofits, Town of Windham committees or commissions, and the Windham School District. Eligible projects must benefit residents and align with the Windham Endowment's educational, recreational, cultural, and environmental priorities.

Through the Community Grant, the Windham Endowment seeks to deepen its partnerships with other nonprofits, broaden the collective impact in the community, and increase the reach of its funding programs.

The grant program established a process by which organizations may apply for funding. The grant cycle opened on January 3, and completed applications are due by March 1. Awards to one or more eligible organizations will be announced by May 1. The awards will be provided primarily from the General Endowment Fund.

2024—American Legion Post 109
$2,500 for their window replacement project

2023—Windham Rail Trail
$2,000 for the Pavement Void Project that fixed approximately 60 dips and buckles on the trail
