Sources of Funding

While the Windham Endowment, of course, seeks funding from local donors, its efforts go far beyond that. It expands the philanthropic acts of those local donors by applying for matching corporate grants and soliciting additional grants from public, private, and corporate foundations, many of which are based outside of Windham or even New Hampshire. These funds might not otherwise be available to individual organizations in the town, and it is this ability to reach beyond the town's borders for funding that is one of the greatest strengths of a community foundation like the Windham Endowment.
