Casablanca - An Evening at Rick's Café Américain
The Windham Endowment’s second annual fundraising event was a huge
success. A full house enjoyed the Casablanca theme complete with live
music, Monte Carlo gaming, delicious Mediterranean food, beverages,
raffles, and, as the highlight of the evening, the announcement of the
Community Advancement Award Winner for 2010.
Stacey Bruzzese and Mike Nikitas presented the award to Peter Griffin,
founding member of the Windham Historic Commission. As guardians of
Searles School and Chapel, the Commission has made preservation of this
historic landmark a labor of love for more than 30 years. We are
thrilled to provide the initial gift for a dedicated fund in their name
so that people may now support this outstanding town organization
through donations to the Windham Endowment.
The Windham Endowment would like to thank all the generous sponsors,
donors, volunteers, organizations, and attendees who made this event
possible. A complete list of our sponsors, raffle providers,
celebrity dealers, and donors can be seen in the slide show (above).
You may also read about the event in the
Windham Independent.
As always, we hope that you will help us advance our work in
Windham by including the Windham Endowment
in your annual giving plans.
