Community Foundations

Community foundations are one of the fastest growing sectors of philanthropy in the United States today. They build and strengthen communities by making it possible for a wide range of donors to create permanent, charitable endowments to meet local needs. Community foundations, through philanthropy that is visionary, flexible, and inclusive, have become catalysts for improvement within both urban and rural settings. As a community foundation, the Windham Endowment can provide services to local groups and causes, serving as a focal point for fundraising.
