Scholarships 2012
This year, for the first time, the Windham Endowment will award several
scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The recipients will be
announced at the first annual Spring Awards Night at Windham High
School on May 29.
At this time, recipients for two scholarships have been chosen, each of
whom will receive $1,000. The Windham Endowment Scholarship is awarded to a
Windham resident who has demonstrated significant involvement in
community service, while the Coish Family Scholarship is a awarded to a
Windham High School senior who has participated in sports and has set an
example of teamwork and sportsmanship while maintaining a GPA of at
least 3.0.
An additional $1,000 scholarship is now available. The Windham Women's
Business Connection Scholarship will be awarded to a young woman graduating from Windham High
School.
Completed
applications
must be turned in to Mrs. Lichtmann in the WHS
Guidance Department by the close of school on Wednesday, May 23. Late
applications will not be considered.
Note: The immediate family and grandchildren of current members of the Windham
Endowment's Board of Directors and Scholarship Selection Committee are not
eligible for scholarships available through the Windham Endowment.
