The Art of Giving
The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement is excited to announce
its first ever "Art of Giving" event which will take place on Saturday,
September 24, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. This memorable evening will
include an art auction as well as
gourmet food-and-wine pairings.
Well-known New Hampshire landscape artist
Sally Ladd Cole
has graciously donated several of her original works of art (see information
below)
to be offered at the event via live auction.
Mike Morin,
well-known in his own right, will be the auctioneer. A variety of other
local artists are also creating pieces just for this event that will be
available for purchase. Proceeds from the "Art of Giving" will directly
support art scholarships for graduating high school students from
Windham.
In addition to Sally Ladd Cole's beautiful paintings, thirty "mini" art
works
(examples)
will be sold at the event for $75 each. Created by various
local artists, minis are 6" by 6" paintings, each with its own distinct
personality and flair. Hang them or display them
on a shelf — minis may be small, but they will make a large impact
on any space. You can pick out and purchase your favorite minis during
the event.
Make your plans now to attend this one-of-a-kind evening filled with
amazing art, wine, and food. The Endowment will host this special event
in Manchester's historic Mill District at Tidewater Catering's
Riverside Room.
We hope that you will be able to join us on September 24!

that will be auctioned off at the event is available or, for a quick overview of the paintings, see the slideshow below.
