Jazz Brunch and Art Show Auction
The Windham Endowment was proud to host this very special event at the Searles School and Chapel to
celebrate fine arts in Windham while raising funds for high school
scholarships. A delicious buffet brunch
was served between 10:30 and 1:00, while desserts continued throughout
the afternoon. Guests enjoyed smooth jazz and good food, all while
relaxing with great friends.
Award-winning Windham High School music ensembles provided much of
the entertainment, and members of the Windham Actors Guild performed
selected numbers from their recent musicals.
Very generous local artists including Diane Gulden (painting), Neil
Fallon (pottery), Kathy Loomis (antique furniture), Hannah Cole
(painting), Joan Normington (pottery), Elliott Gould (photography), plus
many others donated work to be included in the live auction. In
addition, silent auction items include pieces of art as well as Red
Sox tickets (premium seats for 4!), Canobie Lake Park passes, and gift
cards for Barnes & Noble, as well as for local restaurants.
This event raised $4,000 for our scholarship fund. We thank everyone for
your support.
