Community Advancement Award
The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement is proud to present
annually the Community Advancement Award for outstanding service and
dedication to the community of Windham, New Hampshire. The Award is
given each year to a Windham individual or organization whose activities
and accomplishments embody the mission of the Windham Endowment.
To qualify, the recipient must:
Nominations for the Award are solicited annually from the Windham
community. All nominations are reviewed by the Executive Committee which
then proposes a recipient to the Board of Directors. After approval by
the Board, the Award is bestowed on the recipient in the fall. If you would like
to nominate an individual or organization to receive the Award, please
fill out a
nomination form and mail it to the Windham Endowment.
The recipient receives a plaque, recognition in local newspapers and on
the Endowment’s website, and an initial or additional contribution
(currently $1,000) to a fund at the Windham Endowment. In the case of an
organization, the fund will generally be for the benefit of the
organization; for an individual, the fund will be for the benefit of an
organization of their choosing.
